In today’s featured story, RCRTech runs through some of the highlights of the World Economic Forum’s second and third days, with U.S. policy around tariffs and Greenland permeating many AI-related sessions as the U.S. President was en route to Davos. Even before Trump espoused a Greenland takeover or increase to NATO nation tariffs, his “America First” agenda in many ways ran counter to the WEF’s ethos of globalization, with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick telling WEF attendees early this morning, “globalization has failed the West and the United States,” leaving American workers behind. Today’s AI sessions often focused on how to build and scale AI to the benefit of humanity, rather than to its detriment. To see highlights related to AI infrastructure and the vision of some of the world’s most prominent CEOs in tech and business, read the story here.
