Another OpenAI megadeal?
OpenAI is clearly enjoying its freedom now that it’s no longer shackled to Microsoft in terms of exclusive compute control. Though details are scant, OpenAI is considering a $10 billion stake in Amazon, which would help it diversify and reduce its reliance on Nvidia. This comes on the heels of a 6 GW agreement with AMD to power OpenAI’s next-generation AI infrastructure.
